Albert Romero is a Los Angeles–based re-recording mixer with extensive experience in feature films, television series, and independent projects. With a strong foundation in post-production sound, Albert combines technical precision and creative insight to help shape immersive sound experiences across a wide range of storytelling formats. Albert’s credits include high-profile and commercially successful projects in both film and television. He has served in re-recording mixing and mix-tech roles on major theatrical titles including Predator: Badlands and Alien: Romulus, and contributed to the multi-chapter epic Horizon: An American Saga as part of the sound team. On television, he has worked on internationally recognized series such as Cobra Kai, Bosch: Legacy, Love, Death & Robots, The Umbrella Academy, and Invasion, bringing consistent technical expertise to complex episodic sound mixes. In addition to large-scale studio work, Albert served as sound designer and re-recording mixer on the award-winning short Harvester, which won the Texas Short competition at the SXSW Film & TV Festival, underscoring his creative range across both narrative features and independent projects. In addition to re-recording responsibilities, Albert’s background includes sound recordist and mix technician roles across a number of scripted series and genre productions, demonstrating versatility and depth in post-production environments. His work spans mainstream studio releases and emerging independent titles alike, reflecting a dedication to elevating narrative through thoughtful and effective sound mixing.
