Francisco Lorite C.S.I is a Spanish colorist now based in Los Angeles. With over 15 years of experience, Francisco's journey spans from Europe to the USA. Francisco began his career in Technicolor Spain where he had the chance to work with the best professionals in the field, before making his mark in Los Angeles. His exceptional talent led to a nomination for an HPA Award for Outstanding Color Grading on HBO's gripping series, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness. With a solid foundation in film grading, Francisco brings a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of color science and the artistic vision behind every project. This expertise allows him to implement the perfect workflow for each project, whether it's The Alienist (HBO), MO (Netflix), The Jewel Thief (Hulu), Let the Right One In (Showtime), indie films like Marco Polo or Jacob the Baker, or documentaries like Who's Afraid of Nathan Law and Hoof Dreams (Peacock), to name just a few. He has also collaborated with top artists and brands on short-form work for companies such as RAM, Harley Davidson, and NBC Universal, and created music videos for leading global artists. Over the years, Francisco has worked with a diverse array of professionals, from his time at Technicolor to his extensive freelance career, developing TV shows, feature films, and commercials for major studios and networks, including Netflix, Showtime, A24, Sony, HBO, Paramount, TNT, Peacock, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Francisco also has a deep passion for independent films, where he’s had the pleasure of working on a variety of personal and creative projects, learning and growing at every step.
